How I Work
I start by sketching my ideas until I arrive at a final design. often the beads are so beautiful in their own right that they need very little addition and are simply strung or knotted together, which is often the case with pearls. this classic sophisticated look never dates.
At other times the beads invoke feelings, smells, memories, moods and names and the finished piece may have a very dramatic or contemporary look.
The jewellery is carefully assembled by hand and each piece is a unique creation. No two pieces will ever be identical, which adds to the appeal of my work.
My designs are always changing and developing and it gives me great personal satisfaction to create jewellery that brings pleasure to other people.
As new designs are constantly being created and new items added, this website is a continual work in progress. Although I still do other art and design commissions, most of my energy goes into my jewellery and my work is now being sold throughout Britain and overseas.
