Chalcedony is found in Brazil. It belongs to the family of microcrystalline quartz that are often milky blue to grey in colour. Chalcedony includes agate, carnelian (waxy red), chalcedony (blue), Chrysoprase (green), onyx (black and white), bloodstone, sand (brownish-red), jasper (hornstone), and others. Chalcedony is porous and translucent.
